Comment: I have a new install of mandrake 7.0 on a computer and want to network it with another computer that uses a satellite modem to access the internet. How do I do this? Thanks in advance, Kevin Johnson

Reply: (edit)You would do better to hook the linux computer to the internet (put 2 NICs in it) then access the linux machine from the windows machine, not the way that you want, but backwards.

Reply: (edit)Try both. Linux inclues IPmasqurading and ME includes ICS. See if your Linux machine will be able to access your salalite provider before trying to run it as the gateway.
