How do I connect a computer using a wireless

March 5, 2011 at 15:00:03
Specs: Windows Vista
I have a laptop using a wireless Ralink USB card to connect to the internet. Is it possible to use the unoccupied Ethernet cable slot to hardwire into a router and use the router to send out the wireless signal picked up by the USB card to other devices?
I know I shared my connection like this to my xbox 360 but wasn't sure if it could be used with a router.

normally you would connect all devices to the router.

you could but would have to disable the dhcp server on the router so ICS could hand out ips. Your wireless connection CAN NOT be in the 192.168.0.x subnet which is what ICS auto assignd to the lan connections.
