You will have to somehow remember the previous password to change it, so without it you basically can't do it.

Ask and Answer. The way of learning.

Dell Dimension 8300
Intel Pentium 4 HT @ 3.20 GHz
Nvidia Geforce FX5200

Thanks RMT2 ... as I stated in my question ... I already know the password.

✔ Best Answer
You log onto the wireless router configuration page and go to the Wireless set-up configuration.

You can change the password from there. you don't even need to know the wireless password, just the routers log on user name and password.

You are best doing this with a temporary wired connection because if you make a mistake you could lose contact with your wireless router and no way of regaining contact.
