I have a old Dos 6.22 machine which needs to run old apps on it - I need to have it connect and transfer a file to an XP Home Machine twice a day. I have avalible LOM on both. How can I connect them to each other to do this transfer?

You can download and install msclient from the following site:

http://www.duxcw.com/faq/network/dosclient.htm

(bottom of the page)

This is the program that will allow you to network DOS with XP. Then all you need is a NIC in the DOS based PC and a crossover cable to directly connect the two PC's (NIC to NIC) or a regular network cable if you have a hub/switch/router.
