How can i get the netwok driver ?

Hi, My PCMCIA Network Card doesn't have a brand. There aren't information on the cover... I try to use a generic NE2000 compatible network driver but it doesn't work. Please Help me !!! If you know a specific tool for diagnose the NIC tell me it !!! Thank u

Have a look at the BIGGEST chip on the nic for a number and do a search on google using this. Someting wil show up. Some of these chips have a skicker on them, just peel it off.

Being a PC Card, I doubt any chips would be visible :) Only course is if you find any FCC ID number on it. If yes, trace the manufacturer through this site: http://www.fcc.gov/oet/fccid/

First, remove all NIC's in Device manager, and power off the computer. Then insert the card, boot the laptop, and see if Windows detects the card. Then check in Device Manager to see what, if any, information is displayed about manufacturer, etc. If Windows doesn't detect it, try Add New Hardware in Control Panel and let Windows try to detect it.
