You can't connect the Trio tablet with ethernet cable. It's got built-in WiFi which allows you to connect it to a wireless modem or router, you can't use a wired connection since the tablet does not have an ethernet port.

Like all tablets, WiFi is the only method you can use.

Needs a wee bit of further research... But I think you can use Apple's airport kit... And possibly most other routers that can be configured as an Access (wifi) point.

This is very basic and broad/general "how. It can be done":

The router required will need an ethernet/cat-5 input (an uplink port).

Once wifi is enabled on it... the incoming ethernet signal ought to be available then to the tablet...(using the wifi connection).

There are similar approaches to accommodate hotel/motel ethernet only connections, when more than one user wishes to share that connection (and usually over wifi).

Can't you just plug in a wireless access point? That's the way we used to do it before wireless routers were available.
