i am able to connect to wireless networks but when i use my ethernet card it says unidentified network

First, ensure your wired NIC is set to get it's TCP/IP settings automatically (from DHCP) and then disable the wireless NIC. Having both a wireless NIC and a wired NIC enabled at the same time tends to confuse Windows and neither will work properly.
