I am using desktop with broadband connection. I am accessing the internet connection of my desktop via bluetooth. I am facing a problem that I cannot access the network of my desktop from the laptop. The desktop is connected through a dataswitch and router. When in Network neighbourhood on the laptop, if I click on the Desktop computer icon it says "cannot access. You might not have permission to use this computer...."
Please help me how can i access shared folder of computer and laptop and how can i share the printer connection.

The first thing you need to do is look at the firewalls. Then you have to check the permissions on the folders themselves. Also click start, run, type in \\IP_address of the PC that has the chsared folders. See what happens.
