Hi,
Can anyone confirm that if you're behind your ISP's proxyserver and you want to homebank, you should enter 127.0.0.1 in order not to leave info on the proxyserver ? If you do so, is it absolutely safe ?

127.0.0.1 is a loopback address...it points to your own computer. If you enter 127.0.0.1 as your proxy server (assuming that's what you mean) you will be using your own computer as a proxy server, which won't work.

are you talking about entering an IP address of computers allowed on your program?
127.0.0.1 specifies localhost if your computer is not networked... meaning only your computer has access to that program.
