I would like to set up a more than average home network with domains. I would like to have the capability to monitor (secretly) what is going on on the computers in my house. I have 3 children all old enough to surf the internet. I have 8 computers running various OS's 7 of them running XP pro, and one running Vista HP 64bit. It is my understanding that Home Server will not give me this capabillity, and I need to use Server 2003. My main concern is that I am not familiar with Server 2003 and places like newegg offer many different versions and liscenes. What version or licsense would I need to install it on one machine to set it up as the server in my home?? Any help would be appreciated.

Server 2003 software will cost you over a thousand dollars if you do it all legit. Look at the second box on that site.

You're better off teaching the children how to be street wise & not get suckered by bad people. It's safer for them & cheaper for you. Besides, they will disable your keylogger & filters within a week. You're not the first person asking those questions.
