Hi! I'm having one weird weird problem on wanting to get 2 home pc's on a network.
I run the home network wizard on both pc's and it goes well, they restart and I see on each pc both pc's connected to the network (that I called home). When I look into the hard drive of the computer B trough the computer A everything goes fine BUT when I try to look the hard drive of computer A through computer B, just in the moment when the explorer shows the content of the drive the computer A boot itself from nowhere and the computer B hangs up trying to read the disk of A.
I don't know what's wrong, I've already reinstalled the network a few times with different names and updated the drivers of the Lan cards. Nothing solved the problem.
If anyone knows of any solution of this please reply!!

Thanks!!

Ariel

Maybe the installation of a different driver version for NIC would help.

try changing the share name of computer a's hard drive.but first test the drive for any bad sectors.then make sure cross cables are physically ok.reseat nic's.also to test, try accessing the floppy or cdrom.
