Two of my friends share an Internet connection from my PC via LAN. I use an EDGE Modem to access internet.

Network has been setup by using Windows XP's network setup wizard. The problem is other 2 PC's except me cannot visit www.hotmail.com and www.yahoo.com ... they also cannot login to WLM and Yahoo! IM.

What can I do to solve the problem?

Please help me.

Thanks in advance.

You need a Modem/Router or Router depending on the type of modem, therefore all 3 PC's are indepedently connecting to interner.

I think basically you have 3 choices to implement it:

1) I assume your computer got 2 network cards, one is connected to modem, the other one is connected to switch, 2 other computers are connected to switch as well, then you can enable Internet Connection Sharing to share Internet connection:

2) Get a network router and set up a simple network:

3) Get a wireless router and set up a simple wireless network, but all computers must be equipped with wireless cards:

Hope helps.
