Home Networking & XP

Just upgraded to XP. Under Me was linking 3 home computers together through an ethernet hub linked to a cable modem. Worked fine using NetBEUI. XP doesn't seem to use NetBEUI. All computers can still access the net through the hub, but can no longer detect each other or share printers. I have tried every wizard & setting I can find on XP relating to MS Home Networking & Remote Desktops. Nothing works. Is the hub connection now useless with XP or is there a workaround to this problem? Thanks for any help!!
