Yesterday desktop wouldn't load ie, just the very top. The littlle cursor would go round and round and at top it would say "connecting. But when I clicked on the page would go to Not Responding. Got tired of it all after doing all the Windows help suggestions Would say Network adapter is unplugged. I used my laptop. Today it switched. Desktop is working and laptop won't open, doing same thing as desktop yesterday.

Shut down both PCs, reboot the router & try it again.
