I have 2 Win XP computers, cable modem, and SysLink router
How do I set up Win XP computers so that they can talk each other ? IP address, file sharing, user, workgroup, ...

Can you show me set up steps in turn ?

Any suggestion would fully appreciate.

hrmm.....go buy a Home Networking book at Barnes and Nobles, otherwise you may just want to pay someone from down the street 20bucks to do it. If you don't know how to plug in some cables, then RTFM may be an issue as well.
