Comment: I live in campus dorm which support ethernet connection. The resnet is like Internet--Switch--Hub--DormRJ45Port Each dorm can only acquire one IP address which is associated with the MAC address of the NIC. I have 2 computers, probally will buy another one in the future. My question is: can I setup a home network which enable each of the computer connect to internet? Thanks

Reply: (edit)You can try it using ICS. The PC connected to the resnet will need 2 NIC's. One for resnet, one for your LAN. Follow the setup procedure for ICS on the PC with the dual NIC's. If you have only 2 PC's, a crossover cable between them is all you need. If you plan on adding more PC's in the future. You will require a hub and standard network cables (as compared to the crossover which is wired differently)

Reply: (edit)most newer routers for home users now include mac cloning for just this reason. you can buy a router and enter the address of your nic.
