Hello,

I want to set up wireless network at home. What would be better as a server/streamer of media and files? I've been thinking that maybe Windows 2003 server would be good for that task. But then I think this might be overkill. Would an XP machine do just as well for my needs? (I don't want to use Media Center.)

Thanks in advance for your advice!

Since you'll be using the computer in question as a repository for files I don't see why XP wouldn't work just as good as 2003....for less money.
