Win 98se with 256 ram "sees" the win xp pro computer in network neighborhood and when I click on the icon , i see the shared drives but when I click on a shared drive I get this message " not enough memory...try quiting some programs ". Accessing the win 98 se computer from the win xp laptop is good. They both share an cable internet connection and file sharing thru a router. Thanks

Try going into the TCP/IP settings of the 98 machine and make sure it is NOT set as "master browser."

Thanks, I checked the tcp/ip and there is no "master" option and it was set to "automatic". Any other clues ? Thanks again.
