Hi, I have a home LAN that works perfectly. Mini 8 port Hub, 1 XP+CableModem, 2 XP, 1 Win98se Laptop. Internet Lan gaming & surfing r fine.
My problem is with the laptop. If i disconnect it and then plug it back in a day later all the network neighbourhood pc's disappear but I can still access the internet through the LAN ! Slowly they come back (i keep checking for a day or 2). But i cannot browse the other PC's. It takes 3mins to get to the shares but cannot get into any folders!! It used to work fine & fast. All the other pc's can browse mine. Thought it was Zone Alarm related but disabled it and still the same :¬( Ideas anyone?
