Comment:

Morning group,
One PC in my home LAN refuses to disappear from Network Neighborhood after it's been shut down. Why?

PC #1 Win95A (2 NICs, Sygate ICS)
PC #2 Win98SE
PC #3 Win98SE
PC #4 Win98 (the one in question)

all NICs bound to TCP/IP and Netbeui (except gateway NIC in sygate server, which is TCP/IP only)
Netbeui bound to File and Print sharing

Thanks!

Frank

Why are you running Netbeui? Sygate doesn't need it. That is most likely to be causing your problem.

Should have added :

bind file & print sharing to INTERNAL LAN TCP/IP config only.
