One of my users (only one, very strange) is having an issues where her home drive does not always map properly. The directory structure is \\server\home\%username% and that is set to map to the U:\ drive. Sometimes (every few days) it will map the u:\ drive to \\server\home\. I have checked all of her profile settings, and everything appears to be normal. Anyone ever have any experience with this, or know what could be causing it?

Have you checked through your Event Viewer logs to see what kind of error message is being generated when the drive won't map? If not, do so, it might just give you some ideas as to what is causing the problem. Check andy errors on microsoft's knowledge base and/or google.

There's nothing in the Event Viewer about problems mapping drives or anything. The strange part of the problem is that it isn't having issues actually creating a mapping, it's that it maps the wrong thing. It's supposed to map \\server\home\%username%\ and instead it is simply mapping to \\server\home\. I've tried googling the problem and searching microsoft, and the only thing that I've really been able to find is that someone else had the problem, and to solve it they wrote a VB script to run upon boot up, which is not a viable option in this situation.
