Help with Router Connection

Specs: Windows XP
I know it's been asked before, but I am not so good with computers and need some help.
I have Comcast and Belkin G router. My laptop is connected Wirelessly fine but I cannot get connectivity on the PC, which is wired to the router.
When I do ipconfig, wired PC has, ping comes back bytes=32, Time=1ms or<1ms, TTL=64. On the same wired PC, if I ping 192,168.2.4 it ocmes back with the same, except TTL=128.
The wireless laptop's IP comes back as
In the past, I used to access the router's setup page through my main wired PC, but since it doesn't seem to be connected, I can't access it through there. I can through the wireless so I can update my security settings after I've rebooted both modem and router.
I've changed to new Ethernet cables.
I've checked the LAN settings and it says Connected and Firewalled. One strange thing is that I also see the 1394 Connection there as connected and firewalled? But I've never touched these settings, so are these conflicting? Which should be the connection?
Is there anything else I"m missing?

I also just unplugged the cable that goes to the pc and plugged it in to the laptop (With the wireless disabled) and it works fine as well. Wired and Wireless setups work fine in laptop, not with PC? Could it be that the ethernet driver or plug-thingy is borken? and need a new PC if I were to want the internet to work in a PC? Or is there a diagnostic check that I can run?
THANKS again!! =S
