hello. i have a netgear 2gn2000 wireless router
and have 2 computers:
1) lenovo ideapad s10e
2) toshiba satellite a200
and am trying to use remote desktop with the ideapad to connect to my toshiba a200 laptop. when i open remote desktop connection and enter a random computer name to connect to it says "remote desktop cannot find the computer *randomnamehere*". but when i type in the actual computer name it says "remote desktop cannot connect t the remote computer for 1 of these reasons:
1) remote access to the server is not enabled
2) the remote computer is turned off
3) the remote computer is not available on the netword". i know its not number 2 but dont know what to try. someone please reply

Can you ping the computer by name? Have you enabled Remote Desktop on the computer you wish to access and then added the user name you're logging in with to the Remote Users Group?
