I just got this Orinoco Wireless WiFi card 11MBPS. I turn it on at home, and it immediately detects a wireless router. I live in apartments, and we do not have any wireless network in my house. I am on the internet RIGHT NOW through this connection. It says i am connected to Access Point Prism I. AM I ALLOWED TO USE THIS INTERNET??? I have no idea whose access point this is but i am somehow able to access the internet from it with my wireless card!!
If I get permission to use this internet then is it ok?

Well, if your neighor have wireless networkings across from your apt or next to other bldgs. I recommended not go logging on, it's illegal wardriving over to neighbor's WiFi signals. I had 2 WiFi appeared on my lappy, 1 is mines and others that's someone owns it.
You can ask neighbor for permission to log on from your puter.
