Hi Guys,
I have been having packet loss when networking two computers directly using a cross over cable.
Scenario:
Computer 1: XP OS and has a real time data capture software
Computer 2: XP OS and has a code in .net to access and receive the data from this software.
The main problem is that the codes in .net works perfect for teh comapny who gave us teh real tiem software but when I run it on our system there is always a loss in packets.
Can some one please help and give provide suggestions.

Thanks in advance!!!

Also can a different Ethernet card driver cause packet loss?
