Can anyone tell me How to find the Mac address on my X-box ? I tried winipcnfg but im not sure which address is for the xbox or if it is there at all. winipcnfg gives me 4 addresses two ppp's and a network card home pc,and ics share? im running the verizon DSL modem to a router then to the computer and the Xbox thanks

New Verizon ADSL modems are actually routers as well. I am guessing you are having trouble joining online games? Anyway, the MAC address is usually printed on the bottom of the device. If it is not on the X-Box then it surely is on your Network card, your router and your modem. Looking at ipconfig it is the number to the right of the physical address and consists of numbers and letters. You can eliminate the three you know leaving the last one as the X-box. Jimi_l

Thank you Jimi Actually I didnt think it would come up with ip config because the X-box isnt between my desktop and dsl modem, I just thought there might be some other command to find the items physically connected to my router. Anyway I was lazy, the X Box Mac address actually is displayed on the TV screen in the xbox settings, under the network settings Thanks anyway
