Hi There
I am staying at an apartment for 2 months. They offer wireless internet connection which I have connected my laptop to (os XP sp2). I want to connect my wireless router via ethernet to the laptop so I can use the internet connection for some other devices in a LAN, namely a SIP box for VOIP and my husbands laptop. How do I make my laptop a router to my router - I hope this makes sense.

So it would go
wireless interent - received by laptop
Laptop connect to own router via ethernet
SIP box to connect to router
Another laptop to connect to router?

I think I have to do an ad hoc lan of some sort but just not sure - os xp sp2 as said before. Any help appreciated.

Thanks

All you need is a switch. Almost every soho router has the lan side as a switch.

Consider analogx's proxy if you find ICS doesn't work.

"Best Practices", Event viewer, host file, perfmon, antivirus, anti-spyware, Live CD's, backups, are in my top 10
