I am having an issue with one of my PCs. For some reason my network connection is timing out. I am getting red X's on some of my network drives; yet I can still access them when I click on them.

While running one of our database software (TMW Suite) it can’t seem to connect to the main database.

I have checked the setting on power management for the NIC, ran though the registry and have yet to find one thing that could be causing this issue short of possession.

Any help would be appreciated

My suspicions are always first on hardware with these situations, particularly if you have not changed anything in the OS or software recently. You might have to try swapping out: cables, NICs, or even switches/hubs.
