pcs are set to "obtain ip address automatically". This is done in tcp/ip properties.
the router is set to be a dhcp server so it gives the pcs a ip address usually in the 192.168.x.x subnet. This takes care of the lan.
Your public ip goes on the wan interface of the router. I am guessing this is what you are referring to for the 126.96.36.199 ip address [clearly not a real ip address]
