I am currently running Windows 2000 advanced server, with two Windows 2000 clients. I have created different OU's on the DC, of which i have created group policy's to completly restrict the users dektop when they log on. When i log onto the desktop the policy is being applied to how i want, apart from when i go to "START\PROGRAMS" on the client machine the Accessories folder is there and i dont know how to disable it using group policy, is there anyway, because i dont want system tools and all the other folders to appear?

Generally its as simple as going to the "All Users" folder and deleting those folders or files that you don't want everyone to have. Try that, it will work.

If you move the folder(s) you do not want to appear OUT of the "all users" folder and into the profiles of users that you would like to have them, IE, adminstrator it will appear for the people you trust and not for the users you do not.

hope this helps, dave.
