google works only sometimes

here's the deal i have a fujitsu laptop and i use either window vista or windows 7 and every day or two i can't access google nor youtube or any related sites for a while, after which i can connect like nothing happened and sometimes it only works for about 10 minutes or so after which i cant access again, it just says that its loading after which it gives a page load error, saying the server takes too long to respond all this while i am listening to anline radio and browsing. I changed the DNS to the opendns ones and it seemed to work just fine but now i get the same thing again. by the way i'm using the latest version of firefox
