We get internet thru a wireless usb adapter that dials up to alltel wireless.

I would like to use the adapter with a desktop pc and then connect it to a wireless router so that my mom can get internet on her laptop at the same time. I have no idea how to do this or what search string to use in google. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Google internet connection sharing xp

You will need a crossover cable from pc nic to one of the lan ports on the router. Router has a static ip assignment and its dhcp server is disabled.

'tis the season to be of good cheer. Wishing one and all happy times with family and friends.
