Hi everyone
I currently use an internal 56kb dial-up modem to connect to the internet at home. I'm moving to a new house where there will be no phone jacks anywhere near my computer, and it would be inconvenient to run a telephone extension cable.
So I'm considering moving to ADSL broadband (the only type available where I will live). So I'm thinking of getting an ADSL modem that can plug into my phone jack and wirelessly beam the broadband to my computer elsewhere in the house.
But I've been researching such devices and none of them specify the range of the signal. For example, this is the cheapest I've found:

...but as with all others it doesn't mention the range. Could something like this beam the broadband signal approximately 15 metres, through four wooden walls?
