I'm looking at getting into IT (looking at network administration) but my degree is in finance. I'm thinking about going back to school and getting a second degree in IT but meanwhile I'm looking at getting my knowledge up and maybe a couple certifications. Where should i start? I was thinking comptia a+ and microsoft mcsa

Both are good to have, but I would definitely start with A+, and then begin taking Microsoft courses. I ran outta money 2 certs shy of MCSE & MCSA. A+ is less expensive and a good place to start. The Microsoft courses can be done in segments, getting a MCP, and moving on up as you complete their courses. It is a lot of learning, and you aren't likely to start at the top anyways, you'll need the hardware experience.
