Comment:

I just got a Netgear FM114P 4 port wireless router with print server and network connection is working fine but I can't print.

We have 4 systems in our house.
2 are Wired PC's - can print just fine
2 are Wireless laptops - One can print just fine and the other gets above error.
They are all running WinXP.

I do run 'Systemsuite' which does have a firewall and I have tried disableing it, but our wired PC's have the same software running and has no problems printing.

I ran through the setup the same on all the systems. Installed using the Netgear CD and installing latest printer drivers.

I have tried a different profile.
I've updated my BIOS and Embedded controller.
I've also tried 2 different wireless cards and also tried wired.
I'm on DHCP not static.
I tried powering down all other systems in the house but mine and still same error.
I also put my hard drive into our other laptop and received the same error, so it's now down to software.

It's almost down to reformatting and rebuilding to fix this but I'd rather now have to do that since I'm not having any other problems but this.

Thanks for any help you can give,
Debbie

No reason you should have to reformat your drive. Only one thing not working, right?

Can you access the network with the wireless? You did not say. Only that it would not print.

Go to device manager and uninstall the wireless device and any other network interfaces.

Then reboot and let XP re-detect them.

WILL POST FOR FOOD.
