get passed internet filters!!!!!!!!!!!!!

at our College network, the bloody techies have put filters on some of best sites we know, and also stoped downloading, so lessons are pretty dull.
Does anyone know how to how to pass these filters???? i will give more infomation soon!!!!!!!

Depend on what kind of filter you are talking about... Text filter, or IP filter, or Url/Domain filter?

IP and Domain filter may be bypassed by using a webproxy.

Text filter (i mean text within the page) cannot be bypassed if not encrypted by a client software.

just use a webbased proxy www.anonymizer.com or www.blackcode.com has one. It just loads the page up as tho you're just surfing anonymizer.com

use proxy.spaceproxy.com

they filter the urls for you and remove the cookies etc that proxies catch

there is a thing on the network connection (LAN) called bess. it is the worst thing ever it blocks sites that are gone to by students because they are used too much. it violates the students does anyone have a way passed?? please help
