Comment: Have an office network set up with the following: Linksys WCG200 ver2 gateway Linksys BEFS41 ver2 router Linksys EFSP42 print server Computers linked as follows Dell XP to gateway HP Vista to gateway Toshiba XP to router Brother Printer to router Problem #1: The computers on the gateway can see each other - Problem the HP can see the shared drives on the Dell. From the Dell I cannot see the shared drives on the HP - get an error "Drive not accessible - might not have permission" Problem #2 - the computers on the gateway cannot see the computer and the printer on the router. Conversely router cannot see the gateway. Note: I have the IP address of the computers on the router and gateway. I can ping the ip on the gateway from a gateway computer but not the router. Also can ping computer on router from router computer but not computers on gateway. Thank you in advance, DJC

Reply: (edit)Normal. It is because you connected the 2nd router as a router. Its subnet is different than the gateway subnet. Follow the example below to connect the 2nd router just as a switch. With everything in the same subnet every thing will communicate. http://kbserver.netgear.com/kb_web_... Imagine the power if you knew how to internet search

Reply: (edit)Ok - corrected the gateway router problem. Now something weird is happening - the Dell XP connects to the internet and outlook downloads email. When choosing network places it can see the HP and Toshiba. When run ipconfig and get the ip address of the dell and try to ping it or any of the other machines I get a time out error! Because of this it does not see the network printer either. Suggestions? Thanks, DJC
