My home network utilizes a Motorolla modem, Dell Desktop, and a Router. It all of a sudden stopped working - If the Modem/Desktop is on, it says I am connected but no computers on the network can actually use the internet.
Bizzarly, if and ONLY if the desktop and router are unplugged, I get a wireless signal and can connect to the internet when I am relatively close to it and the router. I am sure it is my signal and not a neighbor.
Finally, if I take away the splitter and connect the cable directly to the modem, it still does not work on the desktop, but the laptop works, and with its normal extended range.
What do I do??!?!

nymets555,

Think you can take a look on these wireless network troubleshooting tips, maybe can help you.

No new software. I am running Windows XP on the Desktop. My laptop runs Mac OS X. The router is a Linksys Wireless G.
