I can't remeber my password to windows, Is there any way that I can log on to windows without it?

while booting press F8 several times >>select safe mode >> when the system loads up select Administrator account >> go to control panel >> click on user accounts >> click on your "locked" account >> click on "remove password" >> confirm it with clicking on "remove password" again... Windows XP user i would appreciate if everybody that has received help from me to say if my suggestions works... working hard for a medal...
