I need to change some settings for my router, but for some reason the username and password were cleared. I can't find the pad that i wrote everything down on. I have a newer Netgear router. I read that resetting it completely clears everything and disables internet access until everything is reconfigured. I tried things like admin and password just in case but to no avail. how can i retreive my information?

See web pages on default passwords. Netgear doc's provide that as well as a way to reset it.

There is no easy way to get that info. I am sure someone can at Netgear. They might have built in a backdoor for testing even.

You are stuck with a hard reset if no correct password can be found.

I read it wrong and answer it wrong too. So get off my case you goober.
