Hi Everyone,
I have got a Linksys WAG54G V.2 Wireless Router and Modem and could not get the signal out to a far flung area of the house. I purchased a D-Link DWL 710 Repeater which I hear are crap but I have got the thing working!
Only problem is one of my computers is seeing both Routers and will not connect back to the Linksys one until I turn the repeater off reboot the comp and let it find the Linksys again and turn on the Repeater again. This seems to happen about every 1-2 hours which is getting a annoying to say the least!
Is there an Application or way in Windows XP I can force the Computer to connect to the Linksys' MAC address rather than the repeater as they essentially, to the Computer that is in the middle of the two Access Points, they look like the same device due to the configuration so it is getting confused and just not connecting.
