I want to fool a computer game into thinking that my friend and I are connected localy so we can play a multiplayer game. Is this possible?

How do I go about doing this?

Money not an issue?
Where do you live and when are you not home?
I'm not gonna rob you, I'm just gonna steal some stuff

That should be possible. But how you do it depends on the game and the setup you have.

You would be better asking the question in the Gaming forum and provide some detail.
