Specs: Windows XP, 2.2 Ghz / 1Gig

I'm planning to move to Server 2008, it's about one month that Im reading and searching all around the web and I had tested every possible senario but im still un successful.

As the subject of my E-mail shows I have a Sever 2008 as Dc ,using GMPC I configured a GPO to redirect My Documents and MyDesktop.
I set it "Basic" and set the UINC path to the shared Folder, I also filled the check box in the settings tab "Also Apply Redirection Policy to win 2000 and XP" , I Linked it to my Domain.

I'm wondering why nothing from my XP client is redirectrd to my Server2008??!!
I found some Solutions that said changing Rgistry and using Client-side extentions may be efficient , but it didnt work for me !!!!

Would you please help me doing this, I'm working in some how a large company ,we have a network of above 300 PCs .
I ve read and implemented "Implementing Folder redirection using Group policy"

the test xp box a member of the 2008 forest/domain? GPO won't take effect on non domain pcs.

Are you also appling the gpo to a OU and that OU contains this xp box?
