Comment: I recently installed Comodo's free firewall. While an excellent program, I am having one conflict which I cannot seem to resolve. I have a network media player which streams audio/video to my tv through my wireless network. When Comodo's firewall is running I cannot access any files from the media player even though I grant full access to the services and exe files which control the media server. The media player is a Buffalo Link Theater. I have also told Comodo told skip extra security checks and to allow stealth connections for the associated programs. To use the player I have to manually disable my firewall. Ideas?

Reply: (edit)If the buffalo media player has a ip address undo what you have set in the firewall and simply set that host name and ip address as trusted. Stealth refers to hiding your pc from the world. Not something I think you want concerning your media station Imagine the power if you knew how to internet search

Reply: (edit)Thank you. That worked. I added a trusted zone which consisted of everything on my LAN (192.168.0.0 to .255). Worked perfectly. Thanks again.
