I have a symantec firewall/ VPN 200 and would like to be able to connect to PC's on my network through the internet going through this firewall. What all is involved in doing this? Thanks for your time, Jimmy.

What would be involved would be buying internet connections for all those PCs. The purpose of the firewall is to place your PCs BEHIND the firewall to protect them from unauthorized access from the Net.

thats alot to do,,for you to have a vpn you have to create a tunnel, and both sides need some kind of vpn software or hardware

You need a couple of things.
1) yes your PCs at the remote locations will need access to the internet. I'm going to take it as a given that you have that covered.
2) Your VPN/Firewall 200 should have come with what is called Remote Client software. You need to load this on each of the PCs that will be remote (home, branch office, where-ever).
3) You have to configure the primary location, and the remote clients to complete the VPN tunnels. Can't give you specifics on the configuration, as it varies from product to product. You'll need to read your owners manual for that. It should involve things like DES or 3DES, maybe EH or AH, maybe PPTP, or IPSEC, yada yada yada.
I sale VPN gear, but each manufacture is different. Most give you lower value because they wont tell you how to do it, just tell you that it will do it. I charge a few more bucks because not only can I sale you the equipment, I can tell you how to make it work.
If you really need this up and operational, send me an email, and I can get an engineer who has worked with the equipment to guide you threw the process for a modest fee.
