i have a powerlogic egx100sd gateway that i have connected to my laptop with a crossover cable. i set a new ip address in this gateway, but cannot connect to it now (i think i typed in an ip address different from what i wrote down) i have tried pinging it from the c prompt but get no response. how can i find out what the ip address is if i don't know it?

You would follow the documentation for accessing the unit. You would assign it an ip address

http://www.langford-assoc.com/produ...

says specifically you have to connect serially to set the ip address. If you miswrote the ip you will need to connect serially to read what it is.

'tis the season to be of good cheer. Wishing one and all happy times with family and friends.
