The Cisco Press book explains how to find the various subnets given a network number & subnet mask. But it only covers the type where the subnet bit is at most 8 bits long(e.g: 172.1.2.1, 255.255.242.0).I am finding it difficult exending the same principles to subnet bits longer than 8 bits(e.g: 10.1.2.1, 255.255.255.0).Can somebody help out in anyway
