I have a Cisco Aironet 350 Wireless Bridge which seems to have "forgotten" it's IP address consequently I can't get into it.
It had been working fine for some time but recently it lost power for about 10 days since when it hasn't worked.
It seems to be functioning insomuch as the LED's are on on the ethernet and it's trying to associate with a remote station but never does. I suspect in fact that it's lost it's entire config though God knows why. Surely a simple power outage, even for 10 days, shouldn't wipe it out?
I've tried to DL the IPSU tool from the Cisco site but it asks me for a user ID & PW which I don't have. Maybe someone has this util and would be kind enough to email it to me or upload it to Rapidshare or somewhere similar?
Does anybody know a way to discover the IP address or maybe know a global reset which I think would put it back to 10.0.0.1
I guess I could go in via the serial port but I only have a laptop available at the moment and it doesn't have serial.

I'm not familiar with Cisco's aironet line but every Cisco switch and router I've ever touched has a console connection (serial) built into it. This won't circumvent the password issue you're having though as you need one to get into the interface.
All Cisco products have a way to reset them to factory defaults (ie: no password). I suggest you hit their site and do some searches for "reset aironet 350" and such in order to find out how to reset it.

Thanks for the input.
Since posting I have managed to get serial access via another laptop with a serial port and confirmed that not only has it lost it's assigned IP but has entirely reverted to default and I'm at a loss to know how or why it should have done so in response to a power outage.
Worse still, even now knowing it's default IP of 10.0.0.1, it refuses to respond to a ping or any other attempt to communicate with it via ethernet so I have to reluctantly conclude that it's probably goosed.
