A friend told me that Buy a usb cable and try direct cable connection.
i have bought a cable which has usb port both the same (unlike a small an bigger one) but the cable has no electronic component installed in between.i read an article about the netlinq or something cable which has a hardware inbetween cables.that cable is not avaiable here so i need to know should i install the cable.
if there is any i mean any help no the topic from your side please do it.i dont want to burn anything so please reply.
if any any has done this thing i mean file transfer or sharing by any other port except LAN which i dont have can be useful to me.
Thanks

if you are not able to use a network card in each machine to enable file sharing via a network, you can try using a program called "laplink" which allows transfer via parallel connection.
You can also try using a null modem serial cable and hyperterminal software to connect. you need a special null modem cable to connect two computers
good luck!

Lots of ways to get there but none are very exceptionally easy... In addition to what was mentioned above, you could also get an external hard drive that connects via USB. They're less than $200 and will not only allow you to share files but also backup your critical files. BTW, you can't connect and share files with a standard USB cable...

You can't share between usb ports unless you have a usb network cable
