Hope this isnt a stupid question, but. I recently got cable internet for my computer. I have the cable modem connected to my wireless router. One computer connects via cat5 to the router and one connects wirelessly. Is it possible to transfer files this way between these two computers? If so, how?

Open Windows Explorer. Create a folder. Right click on the newly created folder and choose "Sharing and Security". That is where you create the share.
Make sure both PC's are in the same workgroup (in your case MSHOME) and then you should be able to connect to the share you've created from the other PC. When connecting you will likely be asked for a username/password, use the account info you use to log onto that PC when connecting to it.
